Speech and Debate Education in Miami-Dade County Public Schools includes: 45 teachers, teaching from a series of 10 speech and debate instructional programs for regular and alternative elementary, middle and senior high schools.

Competency-Based Curriculum
Communication is essential to and affects all students; thus, the Miami-Dade County Public Schools' Speech and Debate Curriculum is dedicated to providing students with comprehensive and realistic means and methods of becoming an effective communicator. The Speech and Debate Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) is designed for grades 6-12.
